hey guys i currently have a gsr borg warner turbo setup tuned on crome.
the turbo is quite large and doesnt hit full boost until 6K and on top of that it smokes like a **** so the turbo is shot.
my buddies is willing to give me a smaller turbo that spools up quicker and puts out less cfm's still will be running 11.5psi as i am now.
will this throw off the tune drastically? i dont want the motor to blow but i would like a smaller turbo. any thoughts on this?

 

will throw off the tune. but not by alot. it will run hella fast. the small turbo will produce alot of fun at 11.5 and the tune from the bigger turbo will cause no harm. MY OPINION.
