Default Chuckwalla Valley Raceway

So I live out in the Coachella Valley, and finally we have a full service race track. I dont know if anyone here on H-T has heard of it, I did a search and nothing came up(but my searching skills need improvement). Its in Desert Center 1hr outside Palm Springs on the way to Blythe. Pretty nice track, with Short and long term garages, pits, the whole nine yards!

So when are we gonna hold a H-T track day? Would anyone be interested?

There are plenty of hotels in indio, Fantasy Springs Casino, Spotlight 29 Casino, Holiday Inn etc.,about 1/2 hour away, there is camping(lol right), and I have my shop in Palm Springs, I would offer up as a crash/prep/pit spot for the night before and after!

EDO,
I have a DA I am planning on putting on the track as well, what did you use for the lower portion of your front bumper on your blue DA?

Chuckwalla is a cool track. Its pretty new, in believe they opened in April of 2010. I've raced there in June. Track is clean and smooth and the run off is just hard dirt... No weird ditches.. Www.starcarsports.com is having an event there the weekend of sept 25. Check it out. Not too many people show, so you can run all day.

Just got the info today...its 150 a day presale for open lapping, on and off the track whenever you want all day!! 2 Days! And you can pay at the gate if you cant get in on the presale for another 50 dollars. I am going to try to button up the integra and get it out there!! If anyone wants to roll out let me know and we can meet up at my shop in Palm Springs.

Cool. A bit far for me since I'm coming from Northern Cali but I already make the trek to willow springs. How much further do you guys think it is from willow springs to Desert Center?

Hanging at the track, drinking after a nice day of open lapping. The track has a great layout and the plain for the future are looking good. Can't wait to see this track as it develops. We will be here all weekend and I hoping to see a few friends.
