We need a SUV as my family keeps growing, and I would like to stay Honda if possible.

Is it easily done. Just want to buy an 02 put a tsx motor and 6 speed in it. New cams and valve train, and hopefully a decent header that would fit.

there are stock bottem end tsx motors making 260 whp

but why not swap a six speend in and turbo the motor it has now?

 

ypu could try boosting the stock gen.2 crv first or supercharging
it then someone did a K pro conversion on his gen.2 crv, you might be
knocking on the whp that your targetting w/ out doing a major swap,
just by tuning it and probably upgrading bolt ons(intake/header/exhaust)
also somebody from hondasuv.com converted his 5spd crv tranny into
6spd, he has all documentations in his thread... you might wanna try
to look into it first....
remember, tsx tranny might not be suitable for crv, since on Vs we need
a low-mid speed gears to match w/ the torque of the engine, also with
some weight issues, since like the element you dont need to rev the engine
past 7-8k to get more power..
it already has power on the low-mid range....
