Default ITR front end conversion on a 99 civic HB,., do it or screw it?

i have a 99 civic HB painted pheonix yellow and recently i hit a semi truck re-tread on the highway,, so my front end is kinda FUBAR. anyhow my buddy is selling the front end off his ITR. the hood, fenders,front core support, lights, front bumper w/ lip becuase he is going JDM front end. Should i go through with the conversion and have a hella hybrid that is fuking wild looking or forget about it becuase i will be stuck with a goofy looking car that know one would like or want to buy?

If it was a JDM conversion it would look pretty tight but a USDM isn't worth the hassle. I've seen it done and it just looks weird to me. the 5G civic is a great design as it is.

I say if YOU want to do it, then go for it and screw what everyone else has to say about it.

I personally wouldn't unless it was the JDM front end, but again thats just my opinion.

I still can't get over those four holes...

I saw a white 92-95 hatch with a YELLOW USDM ITR front end....it looked a$$. Those headlights just don't go with the hatch's body lines. Maybe the JDM ITR's though....

Why not sell his front end and go for a CTR front end?

It looks gay IMO, and you could spend money on something functional like engine swap, rims, breathing mods, or suspension. Screw that mod.

i have all that junk already(mods and poop)... and i have all the integra parts to do the conversion, but i am selling the car. so i dont know how well it may or may not sell with the front end, it prolly wont. but if i were to keep it, i would do the swap hands down. im just greatly in debt and need to sell the car so i can live a decent life with no more money problems.

Don't do it if you want to sell the car! It will be much easier to sell with an oem civic front.

Just my 2 cents.

screw it
civic=civic
integra=integra
keep it that way.
I can agree with some of what has already been said, but I cannot agree with civic=civic, integra=integra, especially with the large number of engine swaps, brake conversions, interior switches, and so forth happening nowadays. I may not agree with his front end swap choice, but I also don't believe your theory holds water, especially when it comes to the JDM ITR front end.
