1993 Honda Civic EX ECU Issue
I was hoping someone could check the attached photos of my burntout 1993 Honda Civic EX ECU and tell me what they think may have shorted or caused this burnout.
All fuses are good and I changed the Main Relay too before I found out this was the problem.
A rebuilt ECU is on the way but I'm worried that a short in a ECU wire or relay could have caused this failure. It appears to be a capacitor in the "B" connection to the ECU maybe in 7,8 or 9,10 plug.
Thanks

as I stated in your identical post https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/1993-honda-civic-ex-ecu-burnout-2825507/
welcome to capacitor death, growingly common with our aging ECUs. (brown cap leaks and causes this)
replace the cap, repair any traces eaten away and reuse.
I've repaired several like this or worse.
