I have searched and still need help?/
I have gone through search but must not eneter the topic right i am trying to find out what all i need to swap heads on a non vetc H23a enigne to a vetch h22 head if you can tell me exactly what to type or just awnser me here or on my email Preludechickado@cs.com it would be GREATLY appreciated. thank you
you would be better off putting h23 crank and rods in a h22, or even better h23 crank h22 rods custom pistons. a stroker kit or a deck plate would be optimal.... or you can just buy my h22 for cheap, thats your best bet

Thanks for helping i know its a hassle but a really want to turn my eingine into a vtec and i just need to know exactly what i need to buy i have a perffesional instaling the stuff but i want to buy my own parts because i am a manager at schucks auto supply and get discounts
to answer your question... you will need an h23 head gasket, you will need about 3 to 4 feet of -3 braided line. you will need AN fittings and and the correct fittings for the angles you need. you will also need a plug because you will have to plug an oil passage in the head. you will also need to run wires for the vtec and the oil pressure switch.i would also do a timing belt and water pump while you are in there. you should also change your tensioner because i have seen them go bad. if i were you bring it to someone that has done something like this before. dont just bring it to some mechanic. if you are unsure and want someone with experience and you dont know anyone close to you i will gladly build your motor for you. im located in NY but shipping is no problem these days. then you have some one else put it in. or even attempt it yourself. good luck with your project.
