I'm curious as to what you might pay for a car like mine(read sig.) It's got a perfict interior and an exterior that could use some work..

 

I would think $6500 is reasonable depending on the milage and other stuff. But I want a stock Prelude.

I searched the net to find mine. I ended up paying $11600 for a 96 with only 60000 miles. But thats still $1000 under book. Good luck!!

Find one with ungodly miles or a blown engine. That is if you plan on doing a swap. Otherwise, good luck, it might be tough but patience is a virtue.

 

good luck getting a nice one for that much. i can tell you right now that it's not gonna happen. in best case you're looking at a 93 with shitload of miles.
94 prelude VTEC blue book value is still way over $9K.
i paid $8600 for my 94 with 59000 about half a year ago...
$5k will get you a 92-94 Si at the best.

How in the HELL did you pull that off? That's the best deal ive ever heard of.

 

blue book value is based a lot on mileage.

finding any 4th gen. vtec in any decent shape will be hard for anywhere near $5000.

i did however pick up a 93 vtec earlier this year with 105k on it for $5700. the closest one to that was priced near $7000 for the same mileage.

 

I saw a red 93 VTEC with around 150,000 miles and it looked to be in good shape and had a clear title and all and was going for $4000. I've also seen a couple for $4600 and $5000 respectively.

 

if you've already seen 3 vtec ludes for $5000 and under, why isn't one of them yours? you're not going to find much better.

 

Well, I have a few things to clear up first as well as allocate some funds. Plus, selling my car couldnt hurt.

 

let me know where these listings are. if they are for real, i'd buy one today. always nice to pick up a good deal.
