Default My EK Hatch Build Thread

SO I just Picked up a 1997 Ek Hatch for $400.00 Last Week and this is what it looked like...
Things wrong with it

Front damage bumper, hood, right light, and right fender both air bags went off and shattered the front window and the car wont start...

These are some of the pics I have from the first day...

The old front End that was crashed

Old Light

Old Gril

Some stupid *** stripes the car came with

Coming Soon 99-00 Front end to be continued

I started to notice that the moldings on the car were really really faded they were almost gray so I took another trip to Autozone and picked up a bottle of back to black to see what it does

You can tell difference right away

It all went back to black haha

I even did the mirrors

I found out what was wrong with the car and the reason why it wouldnt start... Since the Air bags went off the SRS fuse was blown so my buddy just changed that and it started right up... the old man didnt know what was wrong with the car and thats the reason why he sold it so cheap. he thought the car was done but little did he know

The interior is bad man really bad this guy was a smoker and smoked in the car with the windows up! The head liner is black!!! he not one time had passengers in his car so all the seats are perfect like they just came from the dealership never even been sat on but his seat and anything around it is all ****ed up!... since the car is a DX it came with no RPM Tach and no arm rest in the middle so im thinking about picking up a EX cluster and a armrest all the way up to the cup holder because the one in his car is bad! pictures soon

I picked up some Fat Fives the other night and they are in really bad shape it looks like they tried stripping them and they came out like ****...

After I put gave them some TLC they didn't even look good polished so my last resort was to paint them I know i will have some haters talking **** because I painted my fat fives but you know what its my car and if I like it that's all that matters.

This is the finished product

Pictures on the car soon
