milage and does TB sensor issue affect driveability or mpgs?

 

SOME WHAT BOTH.... TB SENSORS MAKE IT LOOSE POWER BECAUSE OF BAD READINGS BEING SENT TO THE ECU. I THINK IT MAY BE THE MAP SENSOR AS WELL, COMBINED WITH THE FUEL PUMP. SERIOUSLY I LOVE MY CAR, BUT I DON'T WANT IT ANYMORE BECAUSE OF MY FAMILY.... NEED SOMETHING WITH FOUR DOORS.

FOR GOD SAKES IM GOING WITH A CHRYSLER PT CRUISER!!!!!.... A PT CRUISER OVER A CIVIC SI!???? FAMILY IS THAT IMPORTANT TO ME.

AND FOR THOSE WHO MAY THINK THIS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IM ON EPHATCH AND USER NAME IS SUSHI_NE1.... I'VE BEEN ON SOLD ON THAT SITE AS WELL AS BAUGHT FOR YEARS.... :-)

I would love to... your cars a beaut, but i need a family ride so I got to get cash for this one.

 

Ok... so there has been a few questions that are the same so I will give a little background story of why the car is Salvaged....

Back in 03 I had some deuchbag start swerving his car at me on the 10 freeway on Halloween. I tried to get away but he chased me down and I swerved a bit too hard and the lost the rear (it was raining) and I went into the center divider.

The damage was not bad enough for it to be salvaged, but my lawyer was planning some idiotic scram to steel my car from me by working with the bodyshop and saying it was salvage... leaving only like 2000 - 3000 left to buy the car. His bro was gonna buy it. Dumb asses sent the paperwork to our house by mistake and we fired him and took the car back. The body shop said that the only real damage was to the suspension and the body.... other than that, the airbags didn't deploy, engine wasn't touched except for the a/c condenser. They fixed it.

I had a BuddyClub kit on it with 18" FN01RC's and then I decided to go stock... then JDM a bit....

Two years ago I hydro locked the stock A3 engine, so I bought a used A3 off a friends show car( it only had 15k miles on it). The car may have 115,000 miles, but the engine only has around 70k.

IF I WASN'T HAVING THESE TB ISSUES, I WOULD SELL FOR LIKE 2-3K MORE, BUT I AM SO I'M NOT. I BELIEVE THIS IS A GREAT DEAL. I JUST REALLY WANT TO GET THE $$$ BACK FOR THE PARTS I BOUGHT.... NOT REALLY THE CAR.

OH!... AND THE REASON WHY THE A/C DOESN'T WORK IS BECAUSE WHEN WE INSTALLED THE NEW A3, MY FRIEND DIDN'T SEE THE A/C HOSE WAS PRESSED AND SLICED UP AGAINST THE RADIATOR FAN HOUSING. SO IF YOUR WONDERING IF IT WAS THE A/C MOTOR.... IT'S NOT. THE A/C WAS WORKING BEFORE THE HYDRO LOCK. I HAVE A REPLACEMENT HOSE THAT I SPENT $115 ON.... IM THROWING THAT IN!
