I live in pasadena and i need someone's assistance, I went broke basically buying tools on my swap and i just realized as i was putting my flywheel back on and what not that i needed to torque these bolts to 87 ft lbs...
My only problem is...My torque wrench stops at 80 ft lbs of torque. If you could please assist me in tightening these bolts to spec...Ill be home all day today just drop me a line here and i'll greatly appreciate it
Im just looking for a kind gestue at no price as i'd do the same for anyone having the same problem. It's only 6 bolts and i already have the 12-point socket for a 3/8 drive.
Please let me know, ill bump it until i get the help..
IF VIEWED PLEASE HELP IN BUMPING..I'M bump you in return.
Plain and simple...Can someone come over to my house and torque my flywheel bolts to 87ft lbs. I have a 3/8 12-point socket all ready and set to go.

Split the torque?
I have no idea how to do that...is it even possible? will it over torque it?
What you're saying it i go about 43 ft lbs torque it, then about 44 ft lbs = (equaling out to) 87 ft lbs of torqe...
will it even work that way
Or will it just torque the first 43 lbs to 44 lbs
will it:
43--> click --> 44 --> click = 87 ft lbs
or
43--> click --> 1 --> click = 44 ft lbs
Do you get what im saying?

i don't think you can split the torque. i just checked mine and couldn't do it. if i were closer i'd come and help you out with mine but i'm quite far. good luck with finding someone close by
Thanks everyone, your bumping got this done. Lil Accord Rider definitely got this thing accomplished 2day, thank u all very much now my motor can go in once ii can torque these pressure plate bolts, i can do it on my own...thanks again guys and girls
I never even torque my flywheel to spec .
I just use a hollow metal pipe and stick the ratchet in there and tighten it the best I could .
Honestly if you overtighten it nothing bad will happen
. done this alot of times
