Default Installing Power windows

In the next week I plan on getting Power windows and locks into a 05 Civic vp
I was wondering if anyone had any information that would help

I am thinking of installing them my self, but I want to know if any of you guys think I will be better of going to a shop or something.

If you guys think i should try it myself, what should I look for in a kit,
and at that where should I look for one,

I also would like to install an alarm and keyless entry, and also want to know if anyone has any idea on how i should go about that.

Would have been easier to just buy a Civic that came with them.

Have fun with that.

I did the spal kit 4 yrs ago, and still running strong. If you can read directions then you are set. its a 2 hrs job, with plenty of breaks, plus the kit come pre-wired so all you have to do is tap into a hot wire for the relay and ground the other and windows work like a charm.

I just received my kit today, I got the Spal power windows and locks, and then an alarm with remote start. Now I think I understand everthing about the power windows and locks except for one thing..How do I know where to place the motors of the power windows. The instructions shows it for a honda civc crx, im hoping that it also applies to 05 civics.

The next thing I believe I will have a problem is setting up the remote start of the alarm. Do I have to by pass an Immobilizer for my car, because the wiring diagram they sent me says

"This vehicle is equipped with a factory immobilizer system. this must be bypassed when installing a remote start system."

But it does not tell me how to do it.
Remember i have an 05 civic coupe VP
