is it legal to use the stock seats in a 10 sec runner? The harness would be strapped to the rollbar.

i dont see why not, i mean if the car retains the stock floor, im sure yers does, then i dont seee why they would make u use a racing seat, ****... i have my stock seats, and imma crack 10's, so **** them,....and **** a raing seat, im 275

i run stock del sol seats. i run 10.70's.

 

I run 11.20's with stock CX seat and a pimped out car seat for the little racer.
They do get pissed off cause I don't have a cage.

 

Why not get one of those race seats from summit? The ones that cost like 40 bucks and you buy a cover of any color for like an extra 20 bucks? its cheap and simple plus to me its more safe because you can weld a bracket from the cage to the back of the seat and the seat also has holes for the harness to go through that would hold u in better if the seat did break loose. I guess im saying it might be a nice safety feature for you.

 

I have one of those summit seats. But I don't wanna use it because it's uncomfortable and I'm gonna be driving the car daily now

 

Mike, i dont think my big polish *** would enjoy fitting in that little seat, i need soemthign bigger, and i do plan on getting a good seat, but its just at the current time, i chose to put my money elsewhere, thanks again, by the way, yer CRX is the bomdiggy, i beleive we spoke some time ago in pertinence to the ECPpacing CRX.. anyway, take care, .....toodles
