Clogged injector(s)...
Alright, so I have fully built Y8 with RC 550s. I just dropped it in a new chassis and there was some VERY old gas in the fuel tank. I've been putting nothing but premium octane in it since dropped the motor in and now it's running on 2-3 cylinders. At first, I thought I just fouled out the plugs so I replaced them and it's still running the same.
I've pulled each spark plug wire and put a screw driver in it and put it above one of the valve cover bolts and all of them arch. I can pull the two plug wires furtherst from the distributor and it doesn't change the idle or how it runs, but if I pull either of the two closest to the distributor, it'll die. I can disconnect the inector from the two furthest the distributor and it'll do the same thing.
I've convinced the injectors have some garbage from the fuel tank in them.
My question is, what's the best/easiest way to clean the fuel injectors? Can I just pull 'em out and soak them in something for a while or do I have to send them off to some to be cleaned?
