i have a 99 accord sedan. the battery light on my dash is on, also my break light is on after i release the emergency break and it shows that all my doors and trunk are open with the little car icon showing if a door is open and they wont shut off even when i drive. may i have a short somewhere??

I believe the battery light will come on when the alternator is giving up. Correct me if i'm wrong...

 

no your right .. i replaced the alternator and everything went back to normal. thanx
