Below are rules to follow before posting in this forum.

We post these rules at the top so that everyone can follow them and we can maintain some sort of consistency. These are in addition to the standards set for the Honda-Tech Marketplace - http://www.hondamarketplace.com/show....php?t=2666504

If you violate these rules, your threads (all of them) will be locked. This means if you have too many FS threads, then all of the FS threads will be locked. If you do it again your threads will be locked and you will be issued infraction(s).

-------------

Members are only allowed THREE (3) total regional sales forum threads, consisting of any combination of the following types:

- FS / FT / WTT / Vehicle Part-out

For sale, For trade, Want to trade and vehicle part out threads are fall under the same category. You are able to have all of the above under one title/thread, but please do not make four separate.

- WTB

Want to buy threads are in a category all of their own and very self explanatory. If you are looking to BUY parts, then this is the thread for you.

- Vehicle(s) FS/FT

Vehicle for sale threads can be posted in the regional marketplace forum as well as the Vehicles For Sale Forum.

-------------

Please review all of the info below:

A. When a member is finished with a thread, sold an individual item, requires a thread title change or would like to have a negative post deleted, etc., they must use the REPORT button underneath the user avatar on the left side of the post, which looks like this: . This will send a message to all moderators managing the forum.

B. If your thread is done then it is best for you to put "SOLD" in the first, original post and report the thread to be locked. Not only will this stop people from PM'ing you about a particular item that is sold, it will also help streamline the forum. It is NOT recommended to delete the contents of the first post.

C. If your thread requires a title change because you have added/sold parts then simply click the report button and ask to have it changed.

D. Do not put a price in the title unless you are absolutely sure you are sticking to your guns on that price. This is because we can't handle all of the reports asking for price changes in the title. We've experienced instances where members have asked for up to 10, yes TEN different price changes in one thread title. Post the price in the body of the thread and edit as needed, and possibly bump it with a price drop notification.

E. Commercial threads are NOT allowed!

These include threads where a member is offering cars and/or parts for sale as part of a commercial business. These also include service threads where a member is providing a service. Those services could include...

Mechanical work (swaps, parts install etc etc)
Alarm installs
Paint/body work
Fender rolling
Auto detailing

...and anything similar that entails soliciting services.

If you are in one of these businesses and wish to advertise your business, contact autoadvertiser@internetbrands.com for details and rates for becoming a honda-tech sponsor, which enables you to post in the sponsor marketplace forums.

F. All items MUST be in the region!

http://www.hondamarketplace.com/zerothread/1845437

The point is for people local to each other to be able to sell to each other. As time goes on, more and more people outside a region appear to be targeting individuals in specific regions, and some of the targeting individuals appear to be commercial.

From now on, when an out-of-region post is discovered, the lock or removal will involve infractions at the moderators' discretion (or other sanctions in ongoing or extreme cases).

You can cross post an advertisement. It's OK to have it in your Hondamarketplace.com regional forum and in the relevant Honda-Tech forum at the same time.

All other regular classifieds rules should be followed except:

1. You are allowed to sell non-Honda and non-automotive parts in the regional forums; however, this may be changed or revoked if abuses take place. These items should not be cross posted into the regular Honda-Tech classifieds forums.

2. You do not have to ship inside the regional forums. The whole point is for people to sell locally, supposedly within driving distance, so shipping is not required.
