im going to schedule some dyno time for myself this week and im trying to decide if its worth it for me to do a race gas tune. I will make about 450whp on pump gas at about 20psi. (last time it was 430whp on 18 psi with a worse manifold and slightly smaller turbo).
my car weighed 2313 with me last week on the scales. ill be using 24.5x8.5x15" m&h's. the car will see a few test n tunes and likely either the 11.5 index or fast bracket class at fall nats, but most of it will be friday night cruising. id like to consistantly run 11.0-11.5 and maybe touch a 10.9 once to say i did it.
whats your insight on this. ( edit - fuel injector and turbo size will limit me to around 520-540whp).

i went 11.30's with 405whp and 2500lbs, so as long as u can drive and ur cars setup right as far as suspension, u should be well into the 10's.

good insight and personal experience.
as for driver im not the best. i usually cut a 1.9-2.0 60ft with my 225 bfg's and could come out of the hole better, but i dont think ive ever missed a gear or anything like that.
considering ill be driving the car to and from the track (1-2 hours each way depending on which track) pump gas would be the easiest choice...

i went 11.43 @ 127...dyno'd 405whp with a SOHC, (was probably pushing 440whp the day at teh track) in a 4dr eg civic. civic weighed 2450 without me in it (i weigh 180)
also went 11.1 @ 130 (only made 2 passes) dyno'd 490whp on a b18c1 in a 4dr integra gsr. weighed 2520 without me.
both were 1.7x 60 foots

i went 10.64@137mph on about 480whp'ish. The car was on C16 (but it was detuned, due to no cage). I'm sure i would have made the 480whp on pump gas and would have ran the same #
Yeah, those 24.5" slicks will vastly improve those 60 ft. times & help that 10 sec. pass come along nicely. And with your weight and whp, it shouldn't be a problem at all.

2.05 60ft. using 12 psi 1st and 2nd and then 15 psi 3rd and 4th. say i cut that down to a 1.8 60 i should be just about 12 flat. my real problem is i cant run more boost in 2nd gear and have it hook so im kind of at a stalemate. i called today to order rims for my slicks, so hopefully get it going in the next 2 weeks
and i digress...i miss-read the OP. He said 2313 WITH him in it. thats a 10 second car fairly easily. judging from my short times, i should have been able to squeek out a 10.8-10.9, but the head dropped a valve on the 2nd run and destroyed the motor
that was in a 2700lb full interior 4dr integra. 400lbs off that should be easily into the 10's. Good Luck!
