ok so I bought my car with the alarm already in the car it worked fine up until I parked the car, I recently changed the car battery and put a new aaa battery in the keypad, the keypad works but alarm on car is not responding, the keypad is showing its in valet mode (zzzz) but it wont exit the valet mode, i also did not recieve the manual for the alarm with the car so does not help much i have been on the compustar website trying to figure it out but no luck, I also tried to reset the alarm by turn the key over 5 times in 7secs like it says on the website but still nothing, if someone could plz help me out I would appreciate it thanks!

 

hold 1 +3 down on the remote until it exits valet.

 

i tried holding 1+3 did not turn it off i also tried it in program mode as well and still nothing its almost like the keypad has no response to the alarm on the cars end

 

I figured it out I have it working now, thanks nsxxtreme for the help much appreciated one of the reason why i love this group compared to other honda fourms because the members are here to always help others in times of need lol
