Really Need Crome Help...I've Tried Everything!
Hey guys,
I've been struggling for a while to get Crome Pro to datalog.
My hardware setup is the following:
Moates Ostrich
Moates Hulog
Chipped P06 w/ VTEC, J12 cut.
Acer Travelmate Laptop
I have followed every tutorial and thread pertaining to Crome Pro not datalogging.
I continuously get the error "Bad response received, please check settings" and "Could not connect to the ecu"
I came to the conclusion that it was my ecu, because it looked like the pad/trace to CN2 had been repaired. I have since ordered another ecu and I get the exact same issue.
I have tried flipping the Hulog cable on the header, I have tried different Comm ports. I notice in my settings in Crome that the Ostrich automatically changes it's baud rate to 115200 after I set it to 38400 and hit test connection. On the Tuner Comm tab the Hulog stays set at 38400. All of my settings are correct in the device manager, with latency at 1ms.
This is beginning to get very frustrating. The only other thing I can think of is that I have a CEL which I don't know about. I have heard that Crome Pro will not datalog if you have a CEL. The thing is, I don't have a CEL in my cluster, because apparently the cluster in my EG is from a JDM carbed car.
I know my car is running rich right now, I'm only getting about 240 miles to a tank with my B16A. I'm assuming its my O2 sensor or something along those lines.
Can anybody point me in the right direction to get this thing logging? I was under the impression that Crome Pro can give you CEL codes, so it's kind of helpful for me, seeing as I don't have a CEL in my cluster.
Any help is really appreciated, I've been struggling with this for a couple of months now. I'm ready to give up.

Try a different usb cable. Using free version of Crome whenever I cannot connect to the chip burner I always unplug the cable and try to connect again.
Cant ever ASSume on a check engine light...you need to check it and find out WHICH code it is throwing.
If it is a SOLID CEL, Crome will not datalog...if it is any other CEL, yes Crome will in fact datalog.
