UPDATE: I mounted the black Recaros on aftermarket lower rails. The low rails are worth it and makes the seats sit as low as stock USDM R seats.
Finally made it home and got to drive the R home from GF's house. It's such a good feeling. Look what was waiting for me... so red or black? Decisions... decisions... decisions...

i'd go black since it requires only a JDM shift boot to match. if you go red, it's kinda obligatory to get the CDN rear seats because just red in the front and black in the back just feels off...then again, i want a pair of black seats so keep the red and sell the black to me at a discounted price

I've had both in my AuDM ITR's, the red seats are actually easier to keep nice. The black seats fabric wears completely differently and looks bad when it does. Sure, the red seats are going to show up stains etc more easily, but I don't really eat in my car etc so I don't find this to be a problem.
Red is the 'default' colour seat in CW JDM ITR's, I think you should go red

Ive got Red ones in may caR and wish i had Black ones. Red Recaros in a DD are no bueno! They look worse everytime i get behind the wheel. I do love Red seats on CW though, just not a great choice for a DD i guess.
grass and dirt in an ITR?!?!?! you, sir, are NOT FIT to own one of honda's best cars of all time!!!!!
