Weird Vibration in steering wheel
It's at different speeds but not all the time. Sometimes it drives great. Other times it feels like something so loose my steering wheels gonna come off. Any idea's as what to check out? It's a 93 accord ex manual with 228k miles. Cars actually in pretty good shape. Rack n pinion have just been changed (supposedly before I just bought it) Although I do have paper work to confirm. I vibration feels like something loose flapping around. Especially when I'm in a higher gear at lower rpm. I commute 150miles a day for work. So any speedy response would be greatly appreciated.
CV Boots due seem a bit under the weather. But what it feels like would be if the CV joints were already seperating. Which I checked and didnt seem to be the case. No play in the steering wheel. And it actually has really good alignment. I'm thinking more along the lines of the steering shaft. Is there anything in there that may become worn out or needed to be tightened?
If it isn't while braking it probably is not rotors.
If it's during acceleration and coasting it can be alignment or tires/wheels. It could also be your tie rods going bad.

right! the rotors are when u come to a stop, i forgot!...ok well, u should get the steering column checked, or i think ima have to go with muffinman on dis one, could be a tie rod.
