Hey everyone. I recently did a y7 y8 build and while putting the car back together and connecting the wiring harness i cant seem to get the car to start.

I have power, spark, ecu seems good. The main problem is when i go to turn it over it cranks but not fuel is getting in. I checked the injectors and their good but no power is going to them to supply fuel. While i turn the key the pgm fi relay just rapidly clicks on and off.

Yes my fuel pump is working, yes the fuel rail is getting fuel. Its the injectors not pulsing.

So is it my pgm fi relay or could it possibley be a faulty ignition. Any help is much appreciated.

 

Are you saying that the fuel injector clips don't have battery voltage or that the fuel injectors are not getting ground from the ECU?

 

The clips dont have voltage. I got a new pgm fi relay and the same problem. When i turn the key in the ignition it charges the fuel pump, then when i go to start it still rapidly clicks on and off and the d4 light for drive lights up

 

Check for an open in the wire between the main relay and fuel injectors.

 

what do you mean a open?

 

Broken wire or connector terminal.
