D15b7 to JDM D15b swap, Help needed!
Hello,
The car is a 1994 Honda Del Sol S 5 Speed. I'm buying a D15b JDM engine and need to know if it will run good through the stock ecu, with the vtec unhooked? My dad is throwing the motor in for me, as I live in Minnesota and the car is down in Florida, which is where he lives. I will swap the ecu and wire the vtec once I get it up here. I really just need to know if the car will run ok without the vtec connected,so he can drive the car up to Minnesota from Florida. Is there anything else I need to do other than changing the ecu and wiring the solenoid for the swap?? Any help you could provide will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply, I read that sometimes you have to mess with the tps, is this common? I'm just trying to figure out any problems my dad may run into.
