like will a factory honda helical lsd for a b16 work in my 94-01 tranny

 

There wasn't an OEM helical for the B16A, only the B16B. If you want to use it you need to use a B18C final drive if your trans is a B18B.

 

WHAT ABOUT LARGE ring gears? i thought some hondas had a smaller hole in the ring gear???? i know for a fact my 4.4 from a b14 lsd ring gear did not fit on a non lsd diff.

 

i knew that it was b16b that had lsd i was just trying to clarify what i was asking, asking or a buddy of mine who has a gsr but is tying to add lsd. he was trying to figure out what used helical he would be able to use that will also work for his gsr tranny. i know that some honda lsd's have dfferent bolt patterns in the ring gear but didnt know which ones would be the same as his because we dont have his out yet to compare

 

He will need a B18C5/B16B LSD (they're the same thing).
