Default map sensor

Here my problem i have a 99 civic si with a 94 gsr swap that was converted to obd2. the guy that i bought it from say the car was using the stock b16 wiring harness. the thing is my check engine light is on for my map sensor and i put a new one in and rest the computer and it still on. i got pic of the how they tap in to the original wire harness for the gsr map sensor.

the original harness used the connector that is currently connected to the throttle body. the extra plug is there because the previous owner was running a gm 3 bar map sensor. i suspect that the issue is with the area that all the wires are spliced. i would remove the extra connector altogether and make sure there are no crossed wires going to the stock map connector.

I'd go through and check all the wires. It sounds like a hack together job. Your going to be chasing issues for the next 6 months if you don't.
