Need HELP! D16z6 swap fuel in coolant
Ok guy I need help fast!
I have to drive work tomorrow, just finished the swap last night full OBD1 conversion with P28, started it up last night, AOK. Took it for a ride around the block, smelt something, it was gas in the coolent, found gas in the rad and it was pissing out and if you can believe pissing out of the back of the motor somewhere and hitting the down pipe/exhaust.
What I think it is, its that I mixed up the fuel return line(the one on the drivers side by the brake booster). I put this line on the back of the Trottle body on the EACV, there is two nipples facing down. I put the fuel line on the one closest to the drivers side. I thnk it should be switched?
If anyone has doen this swap and knows sort of what I'm taking about please email me saleenmoore@hotmail.com
I can send picks.......but I need some help ASAP
thanks

Where did you get your z6 motor....and how much was it.....I need a new motor soon and Im deciding on a zc (always thought id get this) but latelyh ive been looking at z6's......Nippon has a zc for 545...and a z6 for 650......give me some advice
A common mistake when working on the fuel system, is forgetting to reinstall the fuel line washer from the fuel reail. Its the washer that has slotted holes in a circle on its face. If you do not reinstall the line with that washer, then your fuel system will leak. It will either "****" from the injectors seals, or from the fuel line its self. Be carefull when starting your engine like this, you can easily burn your car, or seriously injure your self.
I've got a D16Z6 that will soon be for sale. It has around 130 000 km, a new OEM clutch, new distributor and neuspeed Headers. I want to sell it all for $800 cdn, that's about $525 us.
The only prob is that I live in Canada. Anyways, in case anybody is interested....

Ok what I said makes no wrong I was getting messed up......I missed a coolent hose from what I can tell, that solves the coolant problem.
About the fuel, there is I large about 3/8s size fuel line(thinks its a return line) that is on the drivers side by the brake booster. I neeed to know where that goes on the intake manifold?
If that works then I think I'm ok.....think

sorry I was not clear, I basicly messed up some hoses, But I do need to know where the fuel line located on the drivers side by the brake booster goes?

Dude! Try hooking the fuel return line between the regulator and the tank!
Next, the two lines from the throttle body are for idle control. It circulates coolant to adjust the idle speed. Hook coolant lines up to these ports!

I would highly recomend draining your fuel tank and radiator of you did hook up the lines wrong. Gas in the coolant is not good But I really would not want a lot of coolant in my gas tank. If the fuel return was hooked up to the EACV that is exactly where some of your coolant is right now.
