Default After market Carpets

Hey Im lookin to change the color of my interior from blue to black.
My interior now is mint so ive been trying to find all near mint parts for when i change it to black. My priority now is finding a nice carpet.

Has anyone put an aftermarket carpet in their ef hatch?
If so wut was the brand? How was the fitment? How is the quality?
Thanks for everyone's help

Just curious, why not just dye the carpet you have now? to answer your question though, a couple of friends have bought aftermarket carpet kits for their cars and fitment wasn't "perfect" but decent enough to where you wouldn't notice unless you were really looking for it. quality was good. don't remember brand names though, sorry.

I don't own but have seen the carpets that ACC makes. It was in a crx and the owner said it was really well made. 0 fitment issues according to him and it did look super nice.

I bought one from stockinteriors.com. I personally haven't checked fitment yet but it's a lot nicer than my old beat up one.

A guy on another forum bought his from there also and needed to trim it a little around the edges. I'm hoping it's going to be the same for me.

I’ve bought several aftermarket carpets for everything between Chevys trucks to Vintage Fiats and they’ve never fit as nicely as OE. But that’s just been my experience. Personally I’m for the dye idea mentioned above.

I'll probably look into this company, I am interested in replacing mine as well. My OE carpet is pretty beat.

You cant dye synthetic carpet. But you can paint it with interior paint. I gets kinda crusty.

I have this one in mine fitment was not oem but looks a lot better than 20 year old carpet. The fit was bad just not as easy as factory.

I painted a blue carpet charcoal; I think that it's Rustoleum fabric and vinyl paint from Autozone. Not really crusty; it feels fine to me. I'd recommend it over aftermarket, as it's a hell of a lot easier to install.

I've installed two ACC carpets into EF's over the years

And neither of them fit all that well. My best way to describe them is that they both turned out looking a little "big", no matter how much tweaking you do to it.
