im trying to understand how final drive works but its so confusing

 

the final drive is the same as a rear end in lets say a camaro. it is the ring and pinion gear set. cept on the pinion gear in a honda trans u have 1-5 mounted on the shaft instead of a camaro ud have a criveshaft mounted to it.... get it??/
