Default Battery Relocation to trunk helppp!! ASAP

Hey guys, i need a big hand with putting my battery in the trunk of my car. ok, so ill get started, basically, i have a 2002 Civic EP3, and i brought the Password JDM Powerchamber. i brought the battery relocation Kit from Summit Racing (the Taylor Racing Relocation Kit) and also brought an Optima Battery. So heres my big problem, i am not sure what type of Fuse to run. I NEED to run a fuse for my positive cable because just encase something shorts, without a fuse, the positive cable that i routed through my carpet will heat up and eventually catch fire...... i don't want that at all!! i have heard that a DISTRIBUTION BLOCK has a fuse built into it so just encase something does short, the fuse inside the distribution block would fry killing the connection in the car not starting the positive terminal to heat up......So, i wanna know what you guys think.....Also, if i cannot run a distribution block, than what fuse do i need?? I need a hand here guys cause my cars already in piecess.....

Any help would be great guys, thanks.....

are you guys running any type of distribution block or a type of fuse where just encase something shorts, the positive cable wont heat up?? If something shorts, than the fuse would fry killing the car, but not destroying it.......i kinda look at it like a house, when something shorts, the house trips. you have to go to the fuse box to reset the switch....rite???

Yes, you should run a 150amp fuse 12" inches away from the (+) terminal.

haha nice setup. I need to move my battery to the trunk. It would be nice to have a bit more space under the hood.
