Hey everyone. The red stripe on my seats don't match my interior so i'm looking at my options for changing them... has anyone ever done this? complete re-upholstering is less than $500can, just upholstering the stripe is $300can... is there another cheaper method that will look good? I'm a little iffy on the fabric dye option, unless someone has done it with no problems...

What colour are you planning to go? I have a pair with the green-blue stripe that I will be buying in the next day or two but they don't match my red car so I'm looking to trade someone or do what you want to do.

 

UPDATE: Got my green stripe Del Sol seats... bought some FoliaTec interior dye (I read that it can be used on fabrics). I masked off the rest of the seats, cleaned them, and sprayed away. I now have beautiful black striped Del Sol seats. It was a much better solution to buy these for $200 CDN shipped and dye them than to buy a set of red or black striped ones for $400 CDN!
