Default power loss?????????

I bought a 88 civic with a d16a6 dpfi yesterday. The only problems i can find are it leaks oil needs a valve adjustment and it has NO power at low rpm's. I did my dizzy cap and rotor replaced the spark plug wires messed with the dizzy timing cause some one told me to and did a oil change. Nothing helped. What is this caused by.

don't just randomly play with your ignition timing, you have to set it with a timing gun to 16* before tdc. you also may be feeling the lack of power due to the engine is a slightly larger displacement than the d15b1/b2, and could be choked for air or fuel since the a6 is technically designed for mpfi set up.

no you keep your d15b1/2 head. you can swap the si cam over, but you have to use an adjustable or y8 cam gear to get the timing correct, all though i have heard that the d15b2/b7 cam has the same lobe profile as the a6 but is cut differently so you don't have to make up for the 4 degree's difference due to deck height difference.
