Are the 88-89 civic gauge clusters the same as the 88-89 crx ones? How about the 90-91s? I think they are, but I've also heard people say they aren't. I know the housing is a little different, but I don't think the cluster itself is... please tell me.

 

I don't think the clusters are at all.. Mine came off a 91 CRX Si, but don't see any difference between it and a Civic one.

 

the pinout is different between the 88-89 and 90-91, and the 90 91 have a more rounded shape on top. mounting points are also a little different.

 

I know the 88-89 is different than the 90-91, I just want to know if the Civic ones are the same as the CRX ones from the same year.

 

I have a 90 CRX Si cluster in my 91 DX hatch, it went right in and works great. HTH
