Can a harness be used with 5th gen seats?

Default Can a harness be used with 5th gen seats?

I am not familiar with harness mount points?Is it possible?

using anything other than the stock seat belts w/o a cage or at least a roll bar is very dangerous, especially with the stock seats. if you roll the car and you are straped in with a 5pt harness you wont move and the top of the car will come crashing down on you. in a rear impact the seat back could brake b/c of the extra tension on the back of the seat. its not a pretty site

It's possible to put a harness in a Gen5 but yes do not use it for everyday driving. Though I think what fury is talking about is more a frontal crash and having the belts at greater than a 45 degree angle. This (if enough force) causes spinal compression where your momentum is deflected down instead of forward and essentially putting all the forward movement energy into your spine.
