did a rsd swap on my eg...just hooked up the wipers and they work flawlessly except when you shut them off, the go all the way down, and then up about 6 inches and then stop. do i need to adjust them some how to stay down when i shut them off? i tried taking the motor cover off, pushing the wipers down where they need to be, and putting the motor cover back on but they do the same thing. is there a way to adjust the gearing?

 

bump, still havent got them working right

 

last bump, bout to throw this thing in the trash...my left side drive wiper motor will not bolt onto my rsd assembly, the bolt pattern is wrong. ive tried taking the gear out and moving it but it still does the same thing. is there some kind of sensor to tell when its at its resting point? without the cap on that covers the gears, the wiper would just keep going in circles and not up and down.

Usually crazy wipers are affected by the relay, like mine are.

 

where is this relay? is it in the underdash fuse box?
