for those who wish to know average lifetime of b18c5..
under constant circuit driving (yes...you heard me correctly 6k+ rpm constantly), my friend in japan has gotten 167000km out of the stock motor. (stock internals).
Figured those who are interested in the lifespan of these motors would be interested in this.
Of course i'm sure it will vary, but these motors seem to be built to last.

just constant changes.me and him have had this discussion a many a times
he changes oil about every 2 fill ups of gas.

not really a test, he just told me last time i spoke to him 'oh yes, by the way my b18c is no more'
fyi, the #3 cylinder grenaded itself.

i changed my oil once a month, with regular mobil one
i've done this in the past but not sure it will benefit me, glad to see this post
