i have heard some people balk at the front end cause it looks like a 'busa but i think it looks cool.

yea, thats is your idea. but the fact remeans that most people do not like it. HMMMM......like sportbikes.net

Yum! I like the front fairing, sort of a slimmer 'Busa look or something. The black nitriding on the lower fork tubes is a neat touch too...

looks a lot like my busa front end. I like it but i wish they wouldn't have made like like my busa it is (or was) one of a kind front end. Should help out on the top end aerodynamicly.

uhhh........... my friend has the 2002 black/red 1000 and i love the looks...the busa front well i'm not to sure about that but the black frame looks mean on the blue/black color scheme .

I believe they changed the front end for aerodynamic reasons, not just for looks.

Outside of the front end, I think I heard all else is unchanged...same power , but it loses 3-6 lbs. I think the new front looks good
