What is the usual drop for the 5th gen?
I wanted to know what the usual length for an average 5th gen drop would be, and if you all have any pics of yours. Also what should one watch out for, when doing it yourself?
There's a post on this already.

When doing it yourself. Be careful with the spring compressors when you're removing your stock springs. When I put my new Suspension Techniques on, I didn't even have to use a compressor.

the average is around 1.75-2 inches. i have neuspeed sport springs and they're perfect for daily driving and i have almost no wheel gap(only 1 finger gap now).
1.75 F/ 1.5 R, and neuspeed/h&r sports give you this exact drop.
btw this will give you the even look you want, the prokit has a tendency of making the front look higher than the rear.

I have Eibach sportline on my '94 Accord. Sits perfect and drives even better, it is 1.8" in the front and 1.7"(somewhere in this range) or so in the rear. Had to trim the bump stops in the front but that was easy. As for putting these on yourself be careful, I had to compress them at my buddies shop, well he did anyway. I have pics if you want me to email them to you. Good luck

The car handles great, new shocks are recommended though. The ride can get bouncy with 3-4 people in the car.
more pics in my sig.
