7g for a 98 Type R
I saw this R listed on ITRCA a while back. The seller seems difficult to deal with.

LOL, I remember reading that thread. Car sounds like a good deal. Especially from an original owner with barely 100k on the clock. Before I purchased, I would still have it aligned/inspected for any further damage.

I have met the owner a couple times and spoke to him on the phone even more. This is the type R I wanted over the one I just bought three weeks ago. The seller is not difficult he has just been bullshitted to many times. (also he is from NY so he is not southern) Overall I really liked the car and while it did have that damage up front it drove excellent. It was very tight, clutch and brakes worked excellent. I will also say to those that are local and serious he has a stack of orginal oem parts that are pretty sweet. He may not include those in the sale but with some haggling or extra cash he will let them go. He wants to give the buyer the choice to get them. BNIB Mugen rear strut, bnib oem wheels, orginial oem wheels, type R bra, type R trunk matt. I chose my type R for a few reason, a it was overall 2000 cheaper(7500 at the time i saw it, with oem wheels, bra, and all 5 mats), was local as I literally moved a day later, and I wanted a track car more than anything. My was already gutted and had some decent mods such as F7 lca, GC coilovers, supercharger, mugen exhuast, spoon tie bar. While I would have loved to have an all OEM type R I knew these where mods I would want on the track. Also this guy is the ORIGINAL OWNER!
So in conclusion, if you have the cash and want a potentially awesome all orginal type R, I would say jump on this. Yes its a little beat up, but I think you could negotiate the original wheels into the deal (as I had done) and get a chance to buy some even rarer parts. (I also worked those into the deal and was going to flip them to help fix the body)
