My only question is that is any modification needed for this to fit in a 4th gen? Did some searching and only got people showing them off and not if anything if at all needs to be done for it to fit in a 4th gen. Thanks.
Are you talking about the intake between the TB and air cleaner? Or the actual manifold itself? Arent the type S intake manifolds just polished H22 intake manifolds?

I'm talking about the intake pipe and air box because yes, the only H22 with a different intake mani is the Euro R which I already have...
The tubes for 4th and 5th gen have a different P/N. The outlet at the air filter housing appears to have a different diameter. But the air filter is the same, as well as the throttle body hose clamp. you will need an upper air filter housing from a 5th gen fo sure. Im sure you can get it to fit. Hey, look at it this way, if you were able to get that Euro-r manifold to work, The Type S tube will be small potatoes.

Yeah I just wanted some input before I bought one, just didn't know if the fifth gen engine bay is different to where it for whatever reason doesn't fit without having to change anything.
Hey Bud! I was just on ICB motorsports website. I happened to click on that Type S intake and in the ad, they show a 4th gen Prelude with that intake installed! Check it out. Its the one with the green valve cover. There is a disclaimer about fitment on a 4th gen. But hey, its on there.

Figured I couldn't get yelled at for bumping my own thread but had one final question about the fitting of this intake.
Right now I'm using a 68mm Omni Power TB and it's outside diameter is noticeably larger than the stock TB. For my SRI I had to stretch the $h!t out of the silicone coupler to fit over it.
My question is, is anyone using a Type S intake with a larger aftermarket TB and it fitting on there?
