Car has trouble starting after it's been running.
I have an H22. The engine is heavily modified and running 22 psi. On a cold start after sitting for a few hours or in the morning it starts fine. If I've been driving any length of time and come back to start it, I have problems. It's really annoying when I have to get gas and I can't start the car after and people behind me are getting pissed off.
What happens is when I turn the key to start it, the rpm will go up to about 2.5k rpm then stutter down slowly until it shuts off. If I give it gas, the engine dies instantly. If I turn the key again to start it the fuel pump will not turn on sometimes (walbro 255lph if that makes a difference). I'll have to turn the key up to 30 times sometimes for the pump to turn back on. Then I'll try to start it again, maybe it will start, maybe it won't. It will always start eventually, the longest time it took was about 15 minutes. I just hate sitting there like an ******* trying to start my car a bunch of times.
The engine or fuel pump has never turned off while running, just when I'm trying to start it for some reason. I drove the original car for about 3000 miles when I first got it and never had the problem. I swapped everything into a different car and that's when the problem started so I doubt it's a bad fuel pump. I need help trying to figure out the problem.

Yes it's in a Prelude. The body on the original one wasn't very good, but had a brand new built engine in it, so I put it in my Prelude. That's when the problem started.
