1990 accord brake bulb troubleshooting
A brake bulb went out on my accord. I picked up some sylvania long life 1156 bulbs to replace the non working one. At this time the only bulb not working was the passenger side brake light(found through the trunk door) When I replaced the bulb I was surprised to see that not only did the new bulb not work, but that the dual filament bulb next to it also stopped working.... What should I be looking for? My wiring? Did I buy the wrong bulbs? The bulb terminal was somewhat corroded when I removed the old bulb.
the sockets may have gotten water in them due to a leak. you may be able to replace the tail light section of the harness, but you need to make sure you don't have a water leak first..
