Hi. I am currently selling my CLEAN TITLE 2004 Acura TL in White Diamond Pearl. It is a 6 speed manual with 80k on the motor, and just 8k on the clutch (replaced in January 2010). There is navigation, bluetooth, heated seats, dual climate control, power everything, 20% tint with a lifetime warranty, all weather black floormats, rear trunk tray, and an awesome Mark Levinson sound system. The 6 speed manual has an advantage over automatic TL's because the 6 speed manuals come equipped with nice Brembo brakes and a limited slip differential! There are side airbags in the front and rear too for extra safety. The car is also very quiet and smooth, just like how a luxury car is supposed to be. This car's color combination gets a lot of attention. I love this car to death because it is so rare to find a white TL with black interior, navigation, AND 6 speed!

I change the oil myself and use Mobil 1 synthetic with only OEM Honda/Acura oil filters. The fluids were also flushed and refilled with OEM fluids back in January 2010. The reason the motor, fluids, and clutch were changed in January 2010 was because this is a newer motor that had 50k at time of installation. The body has 160k (most freeway) miles now. This car drives like a dream and has no leaks, fumes, strange noises/ticks, or problems whatsoever. It is such a great deal and wont last long because it is priced well under other comparable cars. Looking for White TL with navi and black leather. So hard to find, like you mentioned. Wish you were closer as well. Good luck though.

 

why the motor swap? I assume timing belt/water pump were replaced when the motor was replaced?

I'm very interested, but KBB on the car with 130k on the chassis is between $9-10k, it's $15k w/ the original motor

 

well... mine is close to the middle! =p

the motor was replaced because i made the mistake of 'selling' the car to a local gypsy (did not know at the time), whom would make payments to me. he made 8/9 payments (missing last month) and left the car to me at a random gas station with a thrown rod. hence the reason the whole motor was replaced.

what sucks is, the guy gave me fake information, is nowhere to be found, and the local police wont do anything because it's a CIVIL case. since i can't find him anywhere, i can't take him to court! =[
