There's a 30% chance of light rain at this weekend's 2-day auto-x, which means it almost surely will rain. I have a set of V710s that are 4 years old, but still pretty soft and with decent grooves, maybe about half as deep as new. I also have a friend who will let me borrow/rent his full tread RA-1s if I want (same size).
I have a lot of experience with both tires, but am wondering which set would be faster in damp/light rain conditions? I think I can fit both sets inside the car with the rear seats out.... lol

If the course is damp (no puddles) I was always told the Hoosiers would be faster. If there is standing water anywhere on course the RA1s should be better.
