Default Short Timeline of my 2000 Civic HB

After last winter, I was fed up with my coupe. I was bored. I had it for 2 years and things were going wrong. The clutch went out, it burned oil, I was tired of the car to be honest. When one of my Koni's blew out it was the final thing to push me over the edge. I decided to look for something new so that I could start fresh and enjoy my car again. So I started looking for an EK hatchback (I know it's EJ, save your breath). I found one in February about an hour away that was somewhat stock and negotiated a trade.

Old coupe:

New hatch when I got it (I kept my wheels):

It was a little bit rough, but overall just needed some attention. First thing I did was cleaned it up and touched up the rough spots. I also fixed the massive exhaust leak that it had. I was bored of my meshies so I picked up some blades.

I hated the blades, so I bought my meshies back and ditched the blades. When I got the meshies back I wanted something new, so I painted them white.

I hated the white meshies, thought they looked dumb so I painted them gold again for the time being. I also picked up some GSR leathers for the interior (no pics) and ditched the elephant ear mirrors and the Type-R style lip and picked up some CTR mirrors and an OEM SI lip.

I was quickly becoming bored with driving the car, so I decided to ditch the y7 when I got some extra cash. Turns out the y7 had a blown headgasket anyways. I bought an obd1 b18a from a friend and swapped it in.

The engine bay was always filthy dirty for some reason, so I decided to freshen up the bay. It was beyond cleanable. I masked it off and spray painted it myself.

I have had my meshies for 3 years and never had money for a set of wheels. Finally I found a good deal on some wheels and tires and decided to go for it. And here's how the car sits today:

Future plans include new suspension, new front and rear bumpers (dont want fogs and the rear has been broken and mended in a spot), OEM headlights, new rear wing, and boost over the winter months. Hope you like.

Yeah, the tint will be redone eventually. I'm not a fan.
