7.98 with a 4 speed trans using a CLUTCH!
I believe they went 1.22 60 foot and a 5.18 to half track. Its all about walking the car off the starting line NON VIOLENTLY!! These guys have been doing this a LONG time and it is very well deserved. They have their act together and this isnt even a tube chassis car!!
It is still an opposed 4 cylinder, air-cooled in an after market block. Trans is also an after market unit but the same configuration as a stock VW..just a lot beefier. Believe it is a Mendeola transmission.
