I was wondering if there's a market for these rare cars over in the usa.
I ran into some great used examples and was thinking to sell them here on on ebay.

The question however is how much is a good EE8 CRX or a even rarer EE9 Civic worth nowadays

If someone searches for one off these or know someone that is then please let me know

EE8 and EE9 are the VTEC models with the B16A1 they best and the fastest made from 1989 till 1991

 

i dont see that there would be much of a market for these cars. seeing as they are the same as what we have here in the US, aside of course from the power options (windows, and mirrors), motor (which most people just swap out anyway) and the front end (which are also just swapped out).

I know people in Canada would be interested in EE8 and EE9 cars...they are the best of the 88-91 generation imo

- B16A powered and oem mounts so it runs smooth!!!!!
- nicer interior
- edm cluster
- power windows, also the crx had the leather option
- newer style front end with glass headlight, some height adjustable

i think with shipping it will be around $5000US at least for the red one (it has sit still for 5 years)
Better exemples will be a bit more expensive.

If anyone seriously thinks about getting one then PB me what you wan't exactly and i can go look around.

 

IMO, id rather buy a imported car that has already went through shipping/registration process and save myself a headache.

 

I think the best u can do is buy non running EE8 and EE9 and sell all the parts...like seats, front body panels, bumpers, mirrors, clusters...u get the idea...that would be a lot cheaper to ship to the us. I have bought a few items from Germany..I would be interested if u decide to do anything like that.

the technical aspect of trying to calculate the cost to ship a car across the ocean. well that may fall under logistics

 

unless i am dead drunk i dont recall reading any "technical aspect" listed above about shipping a car overseas...all i see is more of the "jdm cars for sale thread yo" to our north american jdm fan boys
