What Stock Injectors should I Get for a B16A
I have a B16A swap and I want to upgrade my fuel system, I am already getting fuel rail, pump and v-afc. What I was wondering what stock injectors does the B16A have as well as what would be a good stock injector swap. I have access to a wreked 98 Integra. I know I could just look this up and I will I just want your guys opinion
Well, what mods have you done on your B16? If you have just bolt-ons, then the pump and fuel rail aren't needed. All B and D series injectors are 240cc/min, so just make sure you get peak and hold (low impendance) injectors if you don't already have them. The 92-96 Prelude injectors are peak and hold as well and are 310cc/min, but they might be overkill unless you have some wild cams and high compresion.
I have GSR camshafts, mainly boltons (I/H/E) cap/coil, AFR so on. And when I last checked my compression I remember the mechanic saying that I had abnormally high compression, but I am re-checking that as soon as I can borrow a compression tester from a friend.
Well, I really meant static compression ratio. Like if you have different pistons or whatnot. Just for reference, when checking actual cylinder compression with a gauge on my B16 I got anywhere from 245-270psi (differs according to cam gear settings). I had Crower cams, Skunk2 manifold, CAI/H/E, 11.5:1CR, yada, yada, yada... I was fine with stock injectors, stock fuel pump, stock fuel rail...just used a B&M FPR and VAFC.
