car had no 3rd gear..so we replaced 3rd and there is still nothing.. u can feel that something isnt right..3rd wont engage or grab at all.. anyone have any ideas? 3rd was replaced at trans shop.. even just pushing the shifter into 3rd you dont feel the tension that used to be there..

 

Ask them for pics and measurements from the trans. Then ask for your money back or for them to fix it correctly free of additional charge. If they say no to either, take it to someone reputable.

 

You need to pay more attention. Honda would have fixed that for FREE! There is a TSB for all 6 speed transmissions. If you were to take it to honda they would have overnighted the parts and had you car done in a day and a half with no cost to you. This happaned on my 06 accord. Took it in on a monday at noon had it back tuesday at 4.
