Price of S2000 considering it's a convertible after summer?
I heard people saying that the price of convertible cars in general tend to be cheaper in the fall compared to summer? True or false? Also s2000 since its a honda resale value is solid.
I really want to pick one up, but want to hold out to maybe strike a better deal. IDK?
In California the price pretty much stays the same, so don't hold your breath. Every once in awhile you can find a good deal. I bought mine in early July from a dealer for $12,995 and the KBB value was $18,000. You just have to shop around.
It's not so much the price is cheaper, it's that they sell faster in the spring/summer in general. So in the fall/winter you may get people who lower their prices to get rid of it if they're having troubles selling it, but market value holds true year round.

Also thought about buying out of state but seems like everyone out of state only drives the car in the summer and garages it so it has super low miles, which in turn equals higher price i suppose. I know when i was living in Michigan, my cousin had one and he was only able to drive it about max 5 months out of the year. I also drove it a bunch of times myself and fell in love with it..lol
