I didn't realize there was even the slightest difference between the two

B20B/Z Head
The B20B/Z head looks to be the same as a B18B (P75) head. The combustion chamber bore is 81mm, while the block and head gasket are 84mm.

B20 head = P75 head

Unless the B20 head didn't have bent valves or something, he would have noticed absolutely no difference. The casting is the same.

The B20 head is the same as the B18B head. But not the B18A head. The B18A head has smaller ports. Also, I think the cams are different.
