Default FS in NC:1993 Honda Civic DX Sedan (Clean with JDM goodies)

Name: Darryl
Location: Durham, NC
Contact Info: Email at d_baker3@hotmail.com (phone number can be provided for serious buyers)
Year - Make - Model - Trim Level: 1993 Honda Civic Dx
Miles: around 160k
Price: $3000obo
Title Type: Clear

The Bad:
-Automatic
-A/C needs service
-slight damage on the rear passenger door
-a few paint chips (hood, front and rear bumper)
-could use a good buffing
-slight rip on the edge of the driver’s seat
-a few stains on the carpet from the previous owner
-the steering wheel needs horn buttons
-the cup holder needs to be replaced

The Good:
-The car was well taken care of (plenty of service records)
-The motor is stock
-Car was painted within the past 3 years (base coat, clear coat)
-A lot of “real” JDM EG9 goodies (headlights w/ citylights installed, corners, rear door ganishes, SiR front lip, etc)
-96-00 Civic sedan side skirts installed
-Numerous aftermarket parts (tail lights, muffer, foglights, etc)
-Had a Viper Alarm installed by Best Buy
-Ipod ready JVC headunit and Kenwood 6.5in component speakers all around (sounds really great) -Head gasket was replaced within the last 5k. It was done properly using all OEM parts (head gasket, head bolt, etc), and the head was resurfaced during the process.
-A new passenger side axle was installed within the last 2k.
-Car has a year old 15in ICW wheels and Kumho Ecsta ASX tires (no curve marks)
-comes with numerous extra parts (bnib water pump, bnib Gates timing belt, bnib driver’s side axle, real EG9 lip spoiler, and bnib polish muffler)

Up for sell is my wife’s 93 Honda Civic DX. This car was purchased used in 2003 from Southern Motors Honda (Savannah, GA) by my father-in-law as a commuter car for my wife as she completed her undergraduate degree. Now that she’s working on her Ph.D, we believe it’s time for something slightly newer for her. That’s the only reason why it’s for sell now.

Over the years, we have done a few tasteful modifications to the car using mostly OEM parts from Japanese Civic Ferio (EG9). Besides that, the car is pretty much stock. The car does have aftermarket 15in wheels (because stock DXs comes with 13’s YUCK), and aftermarket taillights (half and half taillights). The car has never been lowered. This car is an eye catcher, and gets compliments everywhere we take it. If it wasn't for the damage on the door, this car could be easily a $4k-$5k Civic.

Now for pictures.
